The Collection That Started It All

The Collection That Started It All

Parisian Peacock has sold out.

It feels strange to write those words. For a long time, it was the only thing Kettlehead Tea was. The first quirky little pieces of art. The first poems. The first canisters held in uncertain hands, wondering if they would ever find their way into someone else’s home.

Parisian Peacock was adorned with artwork by artist Chrysa Koukoura, and paired with French verse written by Australian poet Margaret McKay. Together, they gave Kettlehead its beginning. Its voice. Its permission to exist.

It was never meant to stay forever.

Only to open the door.

Over time, the collection quietly found its people. Readers. Collectors. Tea lovers. The beautifully peculiar. Those who understood that tea could be more than something consumed. That it could be kept.

And now, the final canister has found its home.

Parisian Peacock will not return in its original form, but nothing here is truly lost. The blends themselves have moved gently onward, finding new life in another chapter.

Another collection now grows where it once stood.

This is the nature of things. One story closes so another may begin.

To Parisian Peacock,  thank you for beginning it all.
